The mission of DC Justice for Muslims Coalitions (DCJMC) is to combat institutional and structural Islamophobia in the DC metro area through education, grassroots organizing, advocacy, and policy change.



The DCJMC envisions a world where Muslims around the world are treated with dignity and respect while being afforded equal access to human and civil rights.

Who We Are

The DC Justice for Muslims Coalition is made up of local groups that intersect with the different ways that the Muslim community experiences anti-Muslim racism. Founding members include the Washington Peace Center, the Muslim American Women’s Policy Forum, Collective Action for Safe Spaces and Hindus for Justice.
